i have a question. is it normal for the avt50 to make a (pop) sound when you switch from the red channel to the green? do all avt50's do this? (my avt20 dont) and if so, what causes it?

I dont have any pop in mine when I change. Does the amp sit for a while between uses? My TSL was making a pop after I had left it unused for a few months. After a couple uses it went away. My guess is it was just a cap that discharged or something.

mine does that, it kind of annoys me. i stopped using my footswitch too because it seem to make my amp drift between channels. i hear if u use a differnt switch it eliminates this. but i han not tried it.

I wounder if thats why mine wont pop, I changed to a dual switch when I added the gain boost mod.

From what I can tell, the "pop" sound is from a mismatch in volume from the Clean and OD channel. The "pop" IMO is more a woosh, and I can fix it by tweaking the volume knobs.
