I have come across some great musicians that have used hybrid amps. Most people don't know that Yngwie Malmsteen uses a Fender Roc Pro which is actually a hybrid amp with one preamp tube it. Chuck from Death also loved the Marshall Valvestate line of amps. His tone was actually really amazing as well.
Do you know any other musicians that use the valvestate technology?
Interesting how some of the most technical bands can afford any amp and they still play through hybrid amplifiers.

I think he did, I always though the Mode 4 was a cool amp.

BTW I found out that John 5 used the Mode 4 in Rob Zombie.

even tho zakk wylde has his micro stack, i have a dvd (european invasion) with him useing a avt20 to warm up on before a show.

alex skolnick (testement) uses mode four also. i have always thought the mode four was just a hot-rodded avt . same basic design, s/s pwr & tube preamp.
